Triple Yellow
How it all started…
Sarah, the founder of Triple Yellow, grew up in a small business family in North Dorset and understands the anxiety of investing money in external business support to grow a business. That’s why she uses her 30+ years of knowledge and experience working in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to help ambitious small businesses and not-for-profits in Dorset to grow and thrive as quickly as possible.
After graduating in European Business, Sarah developed her calm, can-do attitude in the technical diplomatic service, running the UK’s development fund in North-West Russia for nearly 10 years. She then worked around the world supporting fledgling social enterprises with the International Network of Street Papers.
After moving back to Dorset she worked for the national charity RNLI, developing their bid research service, their Portfolio Management Office and complex transformations as a Lean Continuous Improvement Facilitator. Her proudest role was project managing the build of their lifeboat-building facility in Poole.
Sarah’s passion for the development of the Dorset economy, and its hidden gems, has led her to develop a number of ecosystems that support growing ambitious companies in the area, as well as a black book of Dorset experts. She turned Winfrith nuclear research site into Dorset’s only Enterprise Zone and advanced engineering cluster of excellence for Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP). She is currently part of a team creating a Smart Place and digital tech ecosystem with BCP Council.
Sarah has a keen interest in digital technology and innovation, with Triple Yellow clients in the surveillance, health tech, digital network and e-learning/training businesses. But she always allocates a percentage of her time to work pro-bono with small local Dorset charities, to help them become self-sufficient.
